Thank you so much for being a part of our church celebration. It’s hard to believe that another year has passed. The Spirit of the Lord is undeniable. And it’s only through His mercy and grace that this church has managed to continue to grow and thrive.

Signature Events


60th Anniversary Gala

We commemorated our 60th anniversary with a grand Gala! Each ticket was priced at $60 per person. The Gala took place at the prestigious Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

60th Anniversary Service

Join us as we celebrate our Diamond Jubilee 60th Anniversary on November 12 with Bishop Carolyn Showell! Both services will be held in the Worship Center at 8am and 11am. Services can also be viewed live online at bwcar.org, on Facebook at bwcar1, and YouTube at bwcar. #DiamondJubilee


Member Appreciation Weekend

We celebrated Member Appreciation Weekend with a series of fun events. On Friday night, we gathered in the Harlem Street Parking Lot for a Movie Night Out, complete with popcorn and drinks. Saturday was all about bowling at Quaker Steak, where we provided bowling shoes, arcade game cards to all kids and light refreshments. And to wrap up the weekend, on Sunday, we had food vendors for everyone and organized a “trunk or treat” event for the youth in the Harlem Street Parking Lot following our 8am and 11am services.

All White Party

Our Young Adults hosted an “A Night In All White” Party with a live jazz band and refreshments. This party was a 60th Anniversary Signature Event and was open to everyone!

Back to School Haircuts and Styles

We helped our children and youth prepare for their return to school with the assistance of local hairstylists and barbers on Monday, August 7, 2023


Help Stock Our Pantry

The last day of 60 Days of Corporate Prayer and Fasting was held on March 1, 2023, at 6:00 pm in the Worship Center. After prayer, we hosted a 60th Signature Event at the A. C. Jackson Wellness Center. This culminating event, “Love Feast,” is a fellowship and celebration shared over a meal.

Family Fun Day

We are excited about Family Fun Day, a 60th-year celebratory event! This festival-styled celebration will be held in the Harlem Street Parking Lot. The event is free and will be full of entertainment, food, games, music, vendors, and more! Bring your lawn chair, sit back, and enjoy the sights and sounds of church family fellowship.

Tea and Pearls Luncheon

The Tea & Pearls Luncheon honored six consecrated women with The Consecrated Woman Award. This event was held at the A. C. Jackson Wellness Center.

Love Feast at the Wellness Center

Corporate Prayer and Fasting

We dedicated the first 60 days of 2023 to corporate prayer and fasting at Bible Way Church of Atlas Road. Prayer was held at 6:00pm, in the Memorial Chapel, every evening from January 1 until March 1.


Black History Mobile Museum

As we celebrated Black History Month, the Black History 101 Mobile Museum – the number one traveling exhibit in America was on the BWCAR campus. We got to see historical artifacts in a special exhibit on the Bible Way Church campus. Bible Way also had its own artifacts on display at this 60th Signature Event. Everyone was asked to wear heritage attire.

A Walk To Remember

In honor of Bishop A. C. Jackson and our founding members, we held a memorial walk at the A.C. Jackson Wellness Center on Saturday, January 28th. The Walk covered a walking trail through the Atlas Road community.

This event included health screenings and vaccines for the flu, COVID, and more.
